Muniyandi, Vilangiyal Moondram Aandu, is an interesting title of the second celluloid venture of Thirumurugan who gave an enjoyable family based clean film Emmagan some time back.
The director has teamed up with Bharath and Vadivelu once again in this film. Newcomer Poorna plays the love interest of Bharath in MMV. The audio launch of the film was recently held at a new star hotel at Old Mahabalipuram Road which was attended by Ilaya Thalapathy along with the crew associated with the film.
Music has been scored by Vidya Sagar while lyrics are penned by Vairamuthu.
While speaking on the occasion, Vijay said that he is very fond of actress Asin and now that she is concentrating more in Hindi films, she is being missed by everyone including him. But while looking at Poorna, Vijay said that she has a striking resemblance to Asin and he also wished the young actress that she should prove herself just like Asin. Poorna, the debutant was undoubtedly pleased to receive such an appreciation from a star like Vijay.
